The stuff about the origins, and continuance, of psychedelic rock were great (Pink Floy, Jimi Hendrix, and dissing the Dead). But anyone who considers Parklife a psychedelic rock album is kinda missing something. Still, it’s a very good overview in general, and up to 2002.

Like a friend said, I thought they’d blown their wad on Season One. Not so. Wow. From tying up the loose ends to Narcotics Anonymous to almost getting caught, it was brilliant.

Nearly done! God, this book is really good! It’s gone into the history of early humans and hominids (like THE NEANDERTHALS) and incorporated music and dancing into their lives.

This is a Latin Soap Opera take on Ocean’s 11. If you can take the over-the-top melodrama and vaudvillean humor, and just get into it, it’s a lot of fun.

I had to return this to the library after the first 4 chapters, and now I have it back! Maybe I should just buy it. So far it’s gone over autistics with perfect pitch, musicians with brain damage who lose their musical abilities, and other brain damage cases who keep musical abilities but lose speaking abilities and memories.

Turn it off after 90 minutes. Those are some great 90 minutes, though.

A really disconnected light-on-plot and humor weed movie. The lead characters were too unsympathetic and unfunny. Everything was taken too seriously to be a true stupid movie. It only succeeded in being mediocre and forgettable.

Not exactly representative of his work, except for the air of creepiness. Still a quick, fun read.

Not bad, but too obviously a setup for sequels.
