Reading this book before falling asleep gave me weird dreams about living under Soviet Communist rule.
This book just won the Trillium award, which is great because it is a great book and deserves all kinds of recognition and for all kinds of people to read it. Why aren’t you reading it?
There is a line in this book about how most 300 page books are 250 pages too long. How ironic.
Like most of the books I haven’t finished yet, I had to return this one to the library before I was able to finish it. It was tough to read, so it took me a long time.
I thought it went down hill a bit after he finds out what happened to the dog, but otherwise this book was great.
This book is terrible, and I say this as someone who both likes trashy mystery thrillers and is interested in the histories of christianity and paganism. The book massacres both. Plus, the writing is just plain bad.
The last book is my least favourite so far, but I, of course, can’t wait for the next one.
