A story about "X-Men - The Last Stand (Widescreen Edition)" — 1 year ago

Augh, this movie was awful. Painful to watch. VV and JA have so little on-screen chemistry its amazing they got together in real life.
The ads for this movie promoted it as some kind of wacky screwball comedy where both people realize they have faults and quirks and whatnot. In reality, it was all about what an absolute boar VV’s character was and how he needed a complete makeover, both physicallly and personality-wise. And JA’s character, though understandably irritated by the somewhat sudden discovery that she has fallen in with a complete idiot, was somewhat unreal. “I want you to WANT to do the dishes”???? I mean, I get what she is trying to say, but who in their right mind ever wants to do the dishes?
Glad that I spent no money to watch this one.
This is such a great show! I watched a couple episodes on DVD with a friend and I wasn’t intending to get into it but now I love it – I need to somehow catch up on the random episodes that I have missed. Too bad it is not on i-Tunes.
I read this book a couple of years ago for fun and now I have to re-read it for my thesis.
Augh – I did not want to be consuming this but I am powerless before this show. It is too addictive once you start watching.
EDIT on 11/18/2006: Well, I have finished watching this season. I have not yet seen season 3, but I thought that seasons 1 and 2 were better. This was fun, but it almost seemed like a parody of itself. Still, looking forward to the DVD release of Season 5 in December and hoping I can actually watch Season 6 as it happens.
Had the yummiest sandwhich tonight with Brie – take a baguette, put dijon mustard on it and then brie, turkey and green apples. Then bake the whole thing for 5-10 minutes, until the Brie is melty. Its good.
I read these as a child and now I am embarking on a re-read. It is a nice light change from grad school readings.
My favorite show – ever. I have finally finished re-watching season 2 and caught up on the webisodes. I cannot wait to start watching season 3.
Augh. Is the third season ever going to get better? So far it is just weighed down with this horrible oppressive unexpressed tension – the relationships that are great on the surface but awful underneath. No one is moving forward right now. I hope it improves soon.
I was a little bored with this one. I need to finish it though, so I can return it to Netflix.
