Upside was — 5 years ago

John Cusack was in it and I love John cusack. Mogan freeman was good. It seemed a little shallow to me. . . some of it i just thought was pointless, but for a boring satuday night at home when you dont want to think and your boyufriend wants to see an “action” film, this was tolerable.

A review of "City of Bones (Mortal Instruments, Book 1)" — 5 years ago

I thought this book started out really strong. . . I liked the Clary and Simon. . . and the initial encounter With Jace and Alec & Isabelle set the stage for something really good. .. but somewhere around 3/4ths of the way through it fell flat for me and I just felt dissappointed by some of the twists that were revealed. . . maybe the nest installment will maintain its momentum a bit better.

Not one of my personal favorites — 5 years ago

I have to say that this wasn’t one of my personal favorites. It wasn’t terrible, I just thought it lacked some dimension, was overley predictable and the characters weren’t as fleshed out as I like them. Overall the story concept was good but it seemed to be a bit sluggish in the pacing for me. Not a bad read, but not one of the best, I would definetly recommend Holly Black or Melissa Marr over Frewin Jones. But If you like the genre, its worth reading just to get a little bit of a diffrent “perspective” as the author sets the story in London. Whis leads me to another question. . if the main character Anita/Tania is from London, then why does her slang and mannerism etc. make you think of her as more AMERICAN then British. . . this is one of the things that made the charcters a little to flat for me.

Not the best — 5 years ago

movie i have ever seen, but it was ok, it was funny and touching and lighthearted in all the right spots. Sometimes Jennifer aniston annoyed me a little. . . but over all worth seeing at least once.

if you like Holly Black then this a a book for you — 5 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

If you like any of the Modern Faerie Tales (Tithe, Valient, Ironside) by Holly Black, then you will love this book. Following in the same genre of Black’s novels here is another tale of the Fey in the the modern world.

The characters are very likable, though a bit shallower then Black’s and I thought the story a bit abbreviated. . . there was more that the author could have told in terms of backstory and character development, however, all in all a geart read, and I certainly recommend it to any and all Faerie Lovers.

A story about "Little Miss Sunshine" — 5 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

I loved it! will have to add it to the collection. I thought the acotrs were excellent in their roles and the little girl stole my heart :) she was so quirky i couldnt help but like her. . . GREATMOVIE! a must see for anyone.

Scared me — 5 years ago

this movie really actually scared me. . not sure if it was the setting, the actors, or waht, but i was truly frightened through most of the movie. . . watch it, its worth it, or at least it is if you like horror movies.

it wasnt awful — 5 years ago

it wasnt great either, but it was ok, the little girl is cute, the story has some interest, I like the “connection” to alice in wonderland that the movie makes, i think the rabbit is ADORABLE, all in all, it was a good rental, thought, some of the noise is a little much on a surround sound, so i’m glad i didnt endure it in a theatre.

I am a huge fan of the novel — 5 years ago

NOT WORTH CONSUMING

and this was just beyond a dissappointment, the story of the novel was fantastic and this barely resembled it. . . I had read reviews of it prior so I knew to expect the difference, but this was beyond. . . well just beyond. I like agnes Bruckner (Vivian) i think she’s a great actor, and I think she did as well as she could in this movied, everything else was just WRONG. . . the actors the setting everthing. . . it didnt work for me on ANY level, not as a werewolf movie, or a love story, . . . it was just SAD. . .

I wouldnt waste the time or money on it again. .

No REAL substance — 5 years ago

there wasnt much real substance to this movie, but I was surprised to see Michelle Rodriguez and Oliver Hudson in this, it seemed so low budget. . . but it was entertaining, although it made me a little leary of my dog for a bit.
