Why I recommend "Collective Electrodynamics: Quantum Foundations of Electromagnetism" — 3 years ago
This book is great, the author was a student of Feynman and has a very smart outlook on the subject. This book is more about the actions of groups of electrons, rather than simply electrons at the quantum level (QED). So Collective QED has functions for many things that need to be solved and these functions are very useful when predicting situations containing many electrons.
