Cute film, has funny and touching moments of a blossoming relationship, however, the filmmakers were completely confused in regards to location. This is not a Los Angeles film. It’s a New York film or another big city more mass transit oriented. Perhaps if they never mentioned what city they were in it would have been better. I like the non-linear storytelling. I also like the expectations vs. reality scene. I’m sure a lot of people could relate to different elements of a budding relationship. Joseph Gordon-Levitt is outstanding as the lead character.

I’m not much of a drinker and I don’t like beer but I will try the local brew when travelling. Beer’s also a cheaper way to go at bars/clubs. As I find myself going more and more to such places, I have been trying a beer now and then only to realize I still don’t like it. Except for a super chilled Tecate with lime. That is really good… or it might be utter crap given how much of a non-beer person I am if I think it’s good. I guess it depends if you prefer beer warm or cold, light or dark, etc.

Rockers とか Roosters とか Stalin も出てるから楽しそうだなと見たかったですけど、なんかつまんない映画でした。最小の方はまあまあけど、あとはちょっと。。。がんばって全部見たけど好きじゃなかった。センスがあわない。たぶん私は若すぎる。ごめんなさい石井様。やっぱり映画よりサウンドトラックの方がいいかも。

I think this film suffers from what other punk rock films suffer from. You go in it for the music but the film lacks. Perhaps it is simply not my aesthetic. The subtitles need work as well but I appreciate that they went through the effort of titling all the songs.

I thought dragonfruit was bland (both the red and white varieties; both fresh and dried) and would mark “not worth consuming” if it wasn’t for my experience eating it chilled last year. An old family friend brought over a large bowl of chilled dragonfruit and I thought, great!—what are we going to do with all that bland fruit? Well it was so sweet and delicious chilled that I finally came around and learned how wonderful dragonfruit is.

I went to Cadbury World in Dunedin, New Zealand and at the beginning of the factory tour they have a basket of raw, untreated, unsweetwened cocoa beans. They encourage visitors to take a taste to see how different they taste from the finished product. Truly disgusting! Makes you realize how much junk goes into making chocolate sweet enough to be edible.

This was one of my favorite shows as a kid. As an adult though I do not find it as entertaining, but it’s still decent.

Back in high school I could only play this game in the summer. Once you start, you cannot stop. Staying up all night, conquering other civilizations, sending your people into orbit; sleep only comes when your body passes out but mind continues to play the game.

I can’t believe I saw this one in theaters. As I sat there, I thought this would be much better reconstructed as a 5 minute film a la Les LeVeque, or at least cut up really fast to create an interesting music video. As a full length feature, it is painful to endure.

i saw this years ago and to this day i can’t look at a chocolate bar without thinking about robert downey jr’s character’s plan to avoid the draft.
