Why I recommend "The Mist" — 1 year ago
It has been a long time since I have seen such a carefully crafted horror movie. It is practically flawless.

I really wanted to like this, but the setting felt awfully dated and the story was a bit weak. Will give later editions a go as well, see if that changes my opinion.
I’m not sure I should mark this as worth consuming or not. It has certainly been one of the most bizarre pieces of fiction I’ve read so far. The book is a puzzle on many levels and the range of ideas Pynchon covers is staggering. If you like to be challenged as a reader, dive in, you’re in for a unique experience.
If you love comics—this is your Lord of the Rings.
Nice period piece that keeps you guessing and doesn’t loose all of its magic even after the end. Christian Bale is great as always.
Yes it was confusing, and yes a lot of it could’ve been better, some of the acting, some of the scene-setting, some of the pacing, but all in all I thought I was still entertained thought it was above all a good-looking film.
This film rocks, in a lot of ways it’s a return to good old 80ies monster horror films. Gunn proves horror and humour can go together.
Rugged, rough and unpolished tale of personal justice with a nice twist at the end. A modern day western done right!
A gosh-darn tasty salt that has actual pyramid-shaped flakes!
A very disorienting and disturbing film that keeps you guessing as to what is going on ‘till the very end. Genre bending, dark and weird.
