I single-handedly taught myself how to read with this book… that alone makes it dear to my heart. And after I learned how to read from this I was ready to move on to much more exciting literature like “The Gum on the Drum”.

While not at all top-form Almodovar, there is one great scene in the movie. That’s the problem though, it’s only one great scene.
