A review of "The Tempest (The Pelican Shakespeare)" — 5 years ago
I think the Tempest gets a lot of bad hype. Sure, there really haven’t been any wonderful productions of it. Still, it’s short. It’s simple. And parts of it are very beautifully written.
Full fathom five thy father lies;
Of his bones are coral made;
Those are pearls that were his eyes;
Nothing of him that doth fade
But doth suffer a sea change
Into something rich and strange.
