This is the documentary on Jane Elliot’s ground breaking experiment to expose her 3rd grade students to racism. She broke the class up into two groups: brown eyed and blue eyed. From there she showed the children what it felt like to be discriminated against. The results are profound.

It’s pretty intense. I read it back in high school and I still remember moments when I tensed up for the main character and how I found the whole concept of the book very intriguing. Check it out if you’re really into sci-fi (not the aliens-have-landed-kind, but the maybe-it-could-happen)
