Beyond the interesting eye-catching effects done with rotoscoping, this movie made me laugh, think and in the end, cry. The acting, casting and story were all great, I even liked Keanu in this. Definately a good take on drugs and drug culture in America today, without being preachy.

Jackie tells the amazing story of how he became who he is today. This book is well written, easy to read and a great insight into his life and how the world has changed. Jackie is an incedible man and his story is worth reading.

This was a bit different from your typical Jackie Chan film. You can see him starting to move the spotlight from himself to the next generation. Still a great movie with the stunts you have come to expect from Jackie.

My wife and I agreed that this was a very dumb movie. The difference was that I thought it was great and she would have rather seen something else. Napolean Dynomite would be a good gauge to use to see if you would like this movie.

We saw this this morning at a 12:30 am showing. I did not like the first movie, but I liked this one. Of course there was not real conclusion, a la Empire Strikes Back, leaving it completely open for a 3rd movie to complete a trilogy. Don’t go expecting much plot, but the entertainment value is high.

I really enjoyed this story about the kamishibai man. It makes me glad that my parents got rid of the television for a good part of my childhood.

This is supposed to be a funny and heartwarming story, isn’t it? Where was it? Yes it features a cute kid, a hippie and two of the nicest bikers in history, but the biggest letdown of the film was Kikujiro himself. He may have been well portrayed, but I hated him. He was an asshole abusive dad figure. Nearly everything good that happened to the kid in the film was not because of Kikujiro, but was dispite Kikujiro. This movie did not live up to its reviews.

This was my first time trying vodka sauce. I do not consider myself to be a picky eater, in fact I think I have tried and enjoyed a wider range of foods than most people. I enjoy new things and was looking forward to trying a new type of pasta sauce.

I’m not sure if it is simply because I drank too much when I was younger or if this stuff was really ill-concieved. When I first opened the jar I was assaulted by the one-two punch of acidic sour vapors and the creamed peach color. Pouring out the contents did nothing for my appetite. The creamy smooth consistancy dotted with bits of tomoatoes and other organic ingredients looked like so many puddles that litter downtown after Friday nights.

In the end I ate it, but could not bring myself to enjoy it. I will not buy it again.
