I was just flipping channels and found that ABC Family is airing the old Tick cartoons at 11:00 am on Sundays. These are the greatest!

I have already used this book a few times to fix or tweak something. I don’t want to return this to the library.
This is the 3rd Yimou Zhang movie I have seen and again I liked it. It was much different from Hero and House of Flying Daggers as it was set in current times. It was labeled a comedy, and though it had a number of humorous scenes, it was a very sad movie in the end in traditional Asian style.
I’m on day 3 now and this is a wonderful paper. It expands upon Rolling with Ruby on Rails and really delves into scaffolding and what it does and does not do and how. It also takes this and shows how you can add additional features easily. I wish I’d read this sooner.
While this movie did have it’s shocking and creepy moments I wouldn’t call it a horror movie. Maybe a thriller. Still I enjoyed it for it’s unique perspective of the ‘body part swapping’ genre. The best line is near the beginning, “The world can be an ugly place, but it can be a beautiful place as well”.
Shi mian mai fu or The House of Flying Daggers was a masterpiece of Asian Cinema.
I rented this particular movie because it was:
I have now seen two movies by Yimou Zhang (Flying Daggers, Hero) and have been blown away by the beauty and sadness of them both. I look forward to watching more from this director.
A little hard to start as it does some character setup and uses really big words. However once the plot starts and it gets into the geek stuff, like cryptography, it is really good!
This was quite possibly the biggest waste of two hours I have ever endured.
If you want to take your OO programming to the next level and understand the power of objects, read this book! It’s been a while since I read this so maybe it’s time to consume it again!
