Though this is seen as one of the best kung fu films ever, I was a bit let down when I saw it. It was not a bad film. As always, Jet Li is amazing, but it was not his best film. I much prefer Fong Sai Yuk. Don’t get me wrong, it is a good movie, just don’t believe the hype.

A bittersweet movie that asks the question, “What if your failed relationship could be erased?” It then answers with “you lonely, self-centered putz, why must you only remember the misery?”

No so much of a Jackie Chan movie, still it was funny. Jackie was not in it much and the plot took a back seat to the Sammo Hung and his group of misfits. Kind of Jackie Chan/Hong Kong meets the Three Stooges.

My favorite of the John Woo movies that I have seen; though I have not yet seen them all. Chow Yun Fat plays a hitman with a soul. Not unlike the Professional which was another of my favorite movies.

Another pairing of Woo and Chow Yun Fat. Well done though I preferred The Killer. Perhaps it was because I got the dubbed version of Hard Boiled.

very tarentino-esque with a little more humor.

I am a fan of Asian movies and this was no exception. This actually succeeded in being creepier than I expected. It seemed a little low budget since it used suspense rather than special effects even when it could have made a big impact. Still I think it was effective. If you like Japanese horror this one won’t dissapoint.

I loved this movie. It was one of the best bad movies ever. It seemed to be parody of cheesy kung fu movies, except using high school baseball teams instead of kung fu masters. Enjoyable without further analysis.

Now on day 4 after some delay. When I was beginning rails everything that made me say “Rails is great but, I wish there was an easy way to…”, has an easy way to do it. This paper really fleshes out the intro to rails.
