Back to Black (the song) is the best. “She” (if she is indeed a lady) has a fabulous voice. I really like the 60s type jazz drums sound. All of her songs are suspiciously familiar – like they have been out for years already. Maybe the songs have just picked up heavy influences from elsewhere.
Again, she has a great voice – her songs helped me get through my Uni exams and I can play her songs endlessly without getting bored of them!!

bloody dentists. Bane of my life.
I was born with teeth which just rot ok. I DO NOT (let me repeat) DO NOT EAT SUGARY FOODS or FIZZY DRINKS. I brush and floss my teeth. I also use mouthwash. I cannot help it if I have a mouth full of fillings (from past drill-hungry dentists). I cannot help it if I had 12 fillings one summer as a child (one on the day of my birthday – great, trying to eat birthday cake with face seizure). I cannot help it if my fillings keep falling out. You should have put them in properly to start with.
Thanks, now carry on drilling and don’t talk to me!

My all-time fervent hate.
People who can’t be bothered to:
smile, say hello / goodbye, acknowledge someone’s existence, say please/thankyou, say ‘excuse me’ before ploughing on in with a demand, move aside to let you pass on the street, let you pass in the swimming pool, answer your civil question with a civil answer.
Those people piss me off big style and I’m having none of it!! You’d better watch yourselves if you come out with any of that arsey behaviour.

It’s just confusing. I’m already useless at making decisions without second-guessing myself. I don’t need someone who knows nothing about my character to tell me a few hundred options that I could try out. That just confuses me more.
I’d just graduated with a HND in Computing, and was on the verge of applying to do a degree in the same subject. Obviously heavily biased towards the COMPUTING industry.
Went to a careers advisor just before I made the final decision. What did he come up with? Accountancy.
Obviously Carmarthen are stuck for accountants. You should have heard him plugging the profession.
Good on you, I do admire you accountants, but not for me thank you.
I came out of the interview more baffled that when I went in. Not good. Stay away.

...and I refer specifically to that wank*r in Swansea city centre, spouting crap about something to do with mobility aids. He was rough looking and seemed cheeky enough. I pulled my then boyf along because he was stopping.
The guy shouted up the street after us…”Nice girlfriend you’ve got there mate”.
As if it’s any of his f’ing business who we are. For us to be minding our own business and attract unwelcome retorts is not my idea of a shopping trip.

I just can’t stay awake during submarine films. They are all so tedious. I’ve tried, honestly I have. My eyes head for the zzzs when I see tight-shirted men scampering around a confined space, in between gushes of water (the ubiquitous drowning – after all, that’s about as much action as you’re gonna get in a submarine) and men talking for lengthy periods of time about war strategy / politics garble.
Can I be much plainer? I’m far too ignorant to willingly understand the merits of submarine films. Now let me be to throw it in Room 101.

is the state of not knowing. Ignorance occurs when those who can benefit from knowledge are unwilling or unable to find or assimilate the knowledge. The flip side of ignorance is having knowledge and not having any way of sharing that knowledge.
