Actually listening to this on CD, as that’s all they had at my library. Very strange.
OMG, I didn’t mean to read this entry!
Wow!

If you’ve read “Wolves of the Calla”, you’ll know why…
Just getting started today. I all excited!!
I started Book 1 back in the 80’s. Got stuck after Book 2 (which I loved) when he stopped writing, at any rate I couldn’t find part 3 anywhere for years. Re-read 1 and 2 in 2004, bought and read 3 and 4 in 2005. Book 4 was fun, especially liked all the riddles; I use ‘em on people all the time!
Gotta go start reading!!
See ya!
Finally!
Strange, it only took me 3 days to read Sphinx. This took about 2 weeks. The book is quite different from the movie.
I will say this was worth consuming, after all. I’ll forgive his ignorance of the female mind in favor of his sincere concern with the issues of organ donation and stagnant medical laws.
The ending left a few loose ends, however, the book was entertaining enough.
This book isn’t holding my attention very well. I read it once years ago, and of course, I’ve seen the movie. But I keep getting annoyed at Cook’s attempts to sound like a feminist one minute, and then saying things that are so sexist the next. I appreciate him using females for the lead characters of his books, but he really isn’t inside a woman’s head.
Somehow, I missed all this the first time I read it.
I like water. Water is good. I’ll never finish consuming water because I need 8 glasses of it every day. For the rest of my life.
This is making me so thirsty.
I’m gonna go get some water right now.
