A story about "Childhood's End (Del Rey Impact)" — 3 years ago
Not a book to read when at home with a fever… very wierd dreams resulted. It had some interesting ideas but I don’t think I’d go back and read it again.

This is the book I recommend and lend to people when they want to have a better understanding of what I am studying and why. It is well writen and has been appreciated by even the least scientifically minded of my family.
I think I have now read every article in this collection and each one of them left me feeling the richer for having read it. Another good point of this book is that it is appreciated not only by scientists and science enthusiasts but pretty much everyone who has picked up my copy at one time or another.
I got 3/4 of the way through this, put it down one evening and just never picked it up again… the copy on my bookshelf still has the bookmark in it.
I don’t mean to come off sounding pretentious but if you can read this in French, do. I picked up an English translation once and it just fell flat.
