I have always wanted to read this novel, and now that I have read it I am sorry that it took me so long to finally read it. Huxley contrasts the idea of civilized and uncivilized. What is civilization? while the question remains unanswered Huxley gives his opinions of the extremes and questions our modern idea of civilization. It was a joy to read, and question my own ideas of freedom and civilization along with Huxley. This is a novel that I plan on reading again, and I am sure that I will gain something new from it.

this book was exceptional. the love story intertwined into the philosophical comtemplations, it was just wonderful. clare and henry’s situation pulled at my heart and i couldn’t stop reading. the story and the feelings that niffenegger is able to call up in the reader is amazing. i just loved this book.

this novel highlighted the double lives that people lead and the extreme extent that you can decieve yourself. it was humorous and frustrating all at the same time. the message behind the story is to be true to who you are, love one another and no matter what maintain confidence in yourself by being true to what you are. it was a great book, and i really enjoyed it.

I loved this book. It was one of the best science fiction novels i have read in a while. I loved the dual story line and how they meet in the end. I found myeslf faling into the world that he created, its just so crazy and so detailed that you can’t help but start to believe.
