A story about "Operating Instructions: A Journal of My Son's First Year" — 2 years ago
I read more of this book last night and to be honest it is just dragging on by and I don’t really want to read it. I will however finish it and do find it to be amusing in places. While it is in journal format, I find it quite interesting that the author is writing about her son’s first year of life and says what she feels. I wonder how her Sam felt when he read this later on in his life. She moves from love to hate, to love back and forth and calls him some pretty brutal names. Not to mention, it also amazes me, her being religious the language she uses. I guess that is just part of being human and I shouldn’t be judgemental on it at all because in a big sense I am the same way too.
