I started off with the impression that this is going to be just another pop album, but listen to “Goodbye My Lover” and you’ll start thinking otherwise.

I say give it a chance, cause you might just find what a gem this is, like how I did.

I think my favourite song of this album would be “1000 miles away”. She sings it in reminiscent of “Adrian” and “Painters” from her first album, and I just love how despite how far she’s come, there’s still that girl in there that can sing “Oh god” with such heart-wrenching sweetness.

I loved the plot and the ending. You would never see it coming. Oh, and getting to see the familiar sights of London was another plus point ;)

Just… don’t leave the cinema until the credits have rolled.

The perfect accompaniment of a song for a lovely love story.

And it made me want to be as good a story teller as him =)
