A story about "The House of the Spirits" — 4 years ago
Wonderful book by one of my favorite writers. I love its multi-generational method of storytelling. It has the feel of an epic story.

This book says I need to get orgainized and the first step is to read it.
. . . And I read it, but am still not orgainized.
This book has moved into my reference collection for patterns. I’m still working on the scarf, but it is going to take me so long that I no longer consider myself actually reading this book.
I started reading this book after it came highly recommended by several people I know. I am kind of disappointed. I guess it would be better if I liked mystery and suspense novels and if I hadn’t already heard of most of the information that the book puts forward. I don’t really care for the way it is written, the author feels the need to leave out information from the story in order to keep the suspense going. I understand that this is a popular literary device, but when you do it every four pages it starts to get old. Maybe it will get better as I continue reading.
. . . Done, and I didn’t really like it.
I’m hoping this helps my atrocious eating habits.
Generally, just okay. I was hoping for something more, I guess.
I really enjoyed this book, although the end is heart-wrenching.
