Why I recommend "D.H. Lawrence's Sons and Lovers"

D.H. Lawrence's Sons and Lovers

by D. H. Lawrence

This nook is slow going a little at first but if you think about it in context to when it was written, it’s pretty racy! I like British literature either way but this was an interesting read.

Why I recommend "Canterbury Tales (Everyman's Library (Cloth))"

Canterbury Tales (Everyman's Library (Cloth))

by Geoffrey Chaucer

I know reading in Old English sucks but these tales have had a major impact on literature! If you can get past the language issue, the tale sin this collection are pretty funny and some even have a “moral”. All in all, I would recommend this read but you should plan on taking your time!

Why I recommend "Pride and Prejudice (Bantam Classics)"

Pride and Prejudice (Bantam Classics)

by Jane Austen

For whatever reason, this book is my favorite. I have read it over and over! The characters, to me, are so full of life. The witty dialogue and the anticipation in this book are a huge part of why I love it….I guess it’s hard to explain why I like it, I just do!

Even though I was young when I read them, I nearly broke my neck getting to a book signing and lecture she gave! The book she signed is still on my top ten list…try it as well, “Ring of Endless Light”.
