Why I recommend "Eclipse" — 40 weeks ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

I loved it, I read this 3rd book of the series in just 1 day. That the fastest I’ve ever read a book of this size. This series has brought my passion back for reading, I was sort of in a rut before. Thank you stephenie meyer for your passion in writing it. I wish i was as skilled with words as you are. These books put me through so many emotions as I read, I feel like I’m there.

How "Roots: The Saga of an American Family" changed my life — 42 weeks ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

This gave me a completely different perspective about myself and about the history of the united states. The reality of it is different than what I was taught in school. It’s very difficult to read at times, but just wait until you get to the last ten or so pages. I cried. It’s a very happy ending.

A review of "A Concise Chinese-English Dictionary For Lovers" — 1 year ago

NOT WORTH CONSUMING

I did not like the main character of this book. She was very naive and thought that love was everything. She was very demanding and burdensome. But I did like that I learned some things about chinese culture and language. It is a fast read, and the main character did seem to grow up at the end. But reading this book is basically the same as watching the worst couple in the world argue, and fight, and make up, over and over again for a few hours.

How "The Feminine Mystique" changed my life — 1 year ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

Everyone needs to read this book, men and women. It made me realize that i am a product of the feminine mystique passed on from my grandmother to my mother and then to myself. This book was written about 50 years ago and the mystique is still ruining the lives of women today. I wish i would have read it when i was in middle school or high school. It should be required reading in all schools.

A review of "Extras" — 1 year ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

I didn’t enjoy this last book as much as the previous 3 because Tally wasn’t the main character. But it was interesting to have a different point of view. It wasn’t as adventure filled as Tally’s point of view because Aya was more on the safe side, which made the book seem slow at times. But overall I liked this book.
