I did not expect to like Micah, since I don’t like the character, but I really did. I enjoyed Anita actually having a plot involving zombie raising again. And there was only one sex scene, halleluja. That may sound strange, but after the last full length book, I’d about had enough.

New series about Harper Connelly who has the ability – courtesy of a lightning strike – to find the dead. She and her brother – her business manager – end up in Sarne, Arkansas in a lot of trouble. While the premise is interesting, the characters are boring compared to Harris’ Sookie Stackhouse books.

When Nita’s 10 year old sister Dareen discovers she’s a wizard – her manual is a new laptop computer – Nita and Kit have to go after her to keep her from getting in too much trouble. Again, Duane has written an excellent book with shades of the book of Genesis.

It is 20 years after the initial Sweep series. Morgan now lives in Ireland with her daughter Moira, who is 15. When truths about who Moira is start coming out, Morgan begins to tell her dauther her story. Good ending to the series.

Darling story starring Clemency Pogue who one day gets chased by a fairy in the forest. When she remembers that not believing can kill a fairy, she says “I do not believe in fairies” 7 times, thus killing 6 fairies in addition to the one attacking her. With the help of a hobgoblin, she goes on a mission to get them back. Very cute. I listened to it as an audio book, which is highly recommended.

The final book in the main Sweep series in which Morgan goes up against an old enemy.

A dark wave is coming. Can Morgan, Hunter, et. al stop it or is it the end?

Beautiful addition to the series. In this outing, Nita and Kit help the whale wizards reenact the defeat of the lone power. In essence, the book is about a whale passion play. Deeply moving.

We find out about Alisa as she goes off to meet her mother’s family after finding out she’s half witch. Very disappointing that this is the last of her story.
