One of my favorite books, ever.

Reading this has renewed my love for playing the piano. It has challenged me to pursue music that I would not have even considered before. Thank you Lang Lang and Michael French. =)

One of my favorite lines from the book (p. 327) :

“Making art isn’t about creating something pretty, he said. Any more than life is. It’s about telling the truth.”

I chose to read this book for a Pathfinder assignment and I’m very glad I did. I’ve got to say that it really made my faith in God a lot stronger. Reading the stories of volunteers in India and how they make such a difference there despite tough opposition really inspired me. I feel like the Holy Spirit is working on my heart now more than ever before.

I love historical fiction! ^^

I want to read it a second time before the movie comes out! Yup its that good…I’m so excited! =}
