A simple and easy read. The story is wonderful, light, but meaningfull. Great for children. Just as good for adults.

It’s difficult to adapt a really good book to screene, especially if you are forced to make some cuts/bend the story to make it work, but Peter Jackson did a fantastic job with this film. I think it helped a lot too that everyone read not just the script for the movie, but the book as well.
The story is great, the acting spot on, and the CG is almost flawless. It does get a bit spotty when Frodo’s going into the mountain.
Great movie. I only found out from a friend in the past month or so that this is steven king. Sometimes, in life you just miss things. I was 9 before I found out that funny word bologna and that meat product in the fridge (which apparently I never read the label on) are the same thing….
I blame my husband. He likes these guys a lot.
I guess I think they’re pretty good, though I’ve heard most of the songs so many times it can get a bit old.
This was part of my dad’s record album collection. Though I admit I spent more time listening to tom petty’s full moon fever and supertramp’s breakfast in america, this was probably third on my list out of that collection. (it might upset some if I admited that it still is)
A very good CD. I’m still nostalgic for those 1990’s summer when I hear it. Good times.
There are a lot of books out there, on this theme of where the government is taking us. This is a pretty good one. Orwell doesn’t make any effort to make the plot any easier to swallow, or easier to cope with. It’s a harsh look at human nature, and the herd mentality, and what the dangers of allowing the government to choose for you are.

a friend of mine read this years ago, and had mentioned it to me, but I read too much, and this suggestion got lost in the midst. After seeing the movie, I knew I had to read the books, so I picked up the ultimate guide. I finished all of the books so quickly, I kind of surprised myself. Fantastic, crazy nonsense story, that seems to always be looping back on itself.
I rarely wear makeup, but sometimes, it can be fun. But I never wear it if I feel like I need it. It’s better to be able to look in the mirror when I wake up and feel good about myself most days, than to always feel good about myself, but only after I hide what I really look like.
This is actaully food, but I’ve got it hear under other. Maybe someone’s been puttin steak on their eye?
