Okay, you might shy away from this because of the odd fighting system, but it’s really less annoying than it sounds. Well, mostly. But basically, this game fills in all the gaps between KH and KH2 so I’d recommend you play it, or at least read a summary of the game if you can’t be arsed to play :P But I do recommend it and will probably play through again eventually.

I love this game. I mean, I seriously, really, absolutely adore this game. Here is my proof: I first bought KH on a whim – it was a game that combined Disney and Square characters – too curiously odd to be denied, right? But it was so much more than that. I’m a Japanese major, so any additional experience I can get is great, and I thought to myself: wouldn’t it be cool to play this in Japanese? So I bought KH: Final Mix, thinking that the spoken parts would be in Japanese. Not so! Final Mix has nifty extra stuff, and uses Japanese text, but not the Japanese voice actors. Upon discovering this, I quickly purchased the original KH. I want to make it clear that I do not just own all three versions, I have played through all three versions at least once each, and I have searched every nook and cranny of the game, and have completed all sidequests. And I’d still play it again if school wasn’t eating up all my time XD
