I just re-read this book for the first time in a few years. It was okay, but I had forgotten that it’s just not my favorite. I agree that it really isn’t that well written. I do like the overall story, but if you want a much better Brown book with Langdon read ANGELS & DEMONS!

Monday through Friday I do the USA Today online crossword and sudoku puzzles. Can’t hurt to keep your brain going!

I could have done without some of the descriptions in the novel, but overall a great good vs. evil book. I’ve always liked Stephen King, but I was really turned off by some of the things in this book. I mean, do we REALLY need to know all the details of what The Kid does to Trash? It’s a great epic, though, and now I want to watch the miniseries again to see what they left out!

Hmmm, I wasn’t quite sure what to think about this movie after it was over. Normally I’m a huge Woody Allen fan, but I’m not crazy about this one. I wouldn’t watch it again. It had a few funny moments, and the characters were great—you won’t see Sharon Stone like this again! But overall, thumbs down.

When I was watching this movie I kept thinking, “I know how this ends…” Took me a while to figure out it’s a story from a Stephen King book!

I loved the Stand miniseries done on TV. I need to dig up my copy of the book so that I can read it. Haven’t read a good King book in a while… time for another one now.

I want to improve my hand applique skills. My quilting has slowed down considerably since moving, but I still want to do some fun projects. Applique is awesome. I want to learn more about it!

I listen to this in the car with the kids on the way to school. I love Raffi! His voice is great. I think he does folk music now—no more kids’ stuff.

One of my favorite movies of all time! LOVE it!

I am really enjoying this book. I’ve also read Goodwin’s book about the Roosevelts, but this one is better. A very good read—it’ll take me a while to finish though…
