WORTH CONSUMING!

This book was absolutely incredible!! It held my interest the whole time I was reading, and on multiple occasions, I found that I didn’t want to put it down at all.

It’s clear that a lot of time, effort and research went into each chapter of The Gargoyle.

Definitely a new favorite.

A review of "Heart-Shaped Box" — 4 years ago

I can’t say I particularly enjoyed this book. It was well written, but it read too much like a Stephen King book (without the supernatural aspect) for me.

WORTH CONSUMING!

This was a really great book. It was interesting, because the events were not chronological, but instead, she chose to explain her most vivid memories by her moods. This book really gives you a great inside look at bipolar disorder, and the undiagnosed events leading up to it.

A review of "How to Be Good" — 4 years ago

While this book wasn’t overly exciting, it was very easy and quick to read. Nick Hornby has certainly written better.

WORTH CONSUMING!

This was a really great book! It reminded me a lot of a book I read in school called The Chrysalids. It has a very interesting concept, and I was hooked from the start. I couldn’t put it down because all I wanted was to find out why the community in the book worked the way it does.

Definitely interesting. His opinions on the most out-of-the-blue topics were both funny and quite relevant. If you enjoy sarcastic and witty opinion pieces, definitely give this a read.

WORTH CONSUMING!

This was a very interesting book. It didn’t take me long to read at all; only about an hour total. It read more like a self-help book than a collection of philosophies, but it gave you a better idea of Morrie’s thought processes when dealing with his disease.

Because this book doesn’t give much background information, I’d suggest reading Tuesdays With Morrie by Mitch Albom first.

WORTH CONSUMING!

This was the third time I’ve read New Moon, and I’m happy to say that as loyal as I am to Team Edward, I really didn’t hate Jacob all that much this time around. I really am starting to feel bad for him, more than actually being mad at him. Of course, now when I re-read Eclipse, I’m sure all that hatred will come back.

Wowww. This was the most in-depth autobiography I’ve read yet. It gave you a play-by-play of Anthony’s entire life, and there was never a dull moment about it.

I definitely recommend this one.

WORTH CONSUMING!

Really amazing. I mean, reeeally. You can tell from this book that Tommy isn’t like most other rock stars. He seems to be a really great guy who cares about his music more than anything, and in it, he’s figured out who he is as a person.

Another thing I really liked about Tommyland is that it shows you Tommy’s perspective from everything that I was wondering about while reading The Heroin Diaries by Nikki Sixx. Throughout The Heroin Diaries, I was constantly thinking about what Tommy and the other guys in the Crue were doing during this year of Nikki’s life, and Tommyland really lets you see that.
