I actually really liked this book. Despite how long it took me to read, I thought it was extremely well written and it had a lot of brilliant ideas in it about the afterlife. A love story, a suspense, and gore, all mixed in one. I thoroughly enjoyed it!

I thought this book was decent. It wasn’t the most exciting novel I’ve read, but it certainly wasn’t the most boring. It had a very generic feel to it, and it wasn’t anything life-changing, but it held my attention and was easy to read.

I did not enjoy this book. I didn’t think Paul Trynka was a good author at all. There were no climaxes, and I found that he repeated a lot of fact, and introduced the same people over and over. The book wasn’t completely focused on Iggy; half the time I felt like I was reading a David Bowie biography.

Sweetheart

A great read! Not quite as engrossing as Heart Sick was, but it definitely held my attention. There were a lot of unsuspected twists and small things that caught you off guard. I really enjoyed this one.
