WORTH CONSUMING!

Whenever I see a movie before reading the book, I find it insanely difficult to make it through the book. With The Help, I found it insanely easy. I saw the movie first, but the book was just so amazing that I had no trouble at all getting through the book. That in itself shows how great of a book this is. The story is amazing, and Kathryn Stockett’s writing style is one of the best I’ve ever read.

WORTH CONSUMING!

My only complaint about this book is that it had very little to do with Gretchen Lowell. Overall it was really good. I enjoyed it a lot and it kept me interested the whole way through. Chelsea Cain has a knack for writing serial killers, and I hope she doesn’t stop for a long, long time.

I’m not sure what to say about this book. I liked it, but I didn’t love it. There were no major climaxes that stood out for me, but it did keep me interested through the end.

I loved this book. It was very humorous, and kept me interested right from the first page.

WORTH CONSUMING!

I’d like to start out by saying… HOLYCRAP. This book was great. It took a little while for me to finally get into it, but once I did, I couldn’t put it down. There were so many little surprises throughout the whole story that it replaced the need for one big one. However, in the end, I got just that. The last two pages of the book reveal the question I was asking during the whole novel… and boy, is it ever a shocker!

WORTH CONSUMING!

I absolutely LOVED this book. I started reading it ten hours ago, and I’m already done. (And believe me, there were a lot of food and TV breaks in there). Tori writes with such witty humor that I found myself actually laughing out loud many times throughout the book. I loved it a lot, and I look forward to reading her other books as soon as possible.

WORTH CONSUMING!

This book was incredible. Any Motley Crue fan would go nuts over this. Even if you’re not a fan, its such a roller coaster of events that you’ll find yourself into it.

WORTH CONSUMING!

Before reading this book, I read Nic Sheff’s Tweak. It was really crazy going from one perspective to another, and it made me sympathize for every person involved. I found myself piecing together the different parts, trying to figure out what was going on in Tweak during the parts in Beautiful Boy that matched up. Beautiful Boy was very well written, and I look forward to reading more of David Sheff’s books, as well as Nic’s follow-up memoir.

WORTH CONSUMING!

I really, really enjoyed this book. I’m not a religious person, but for some reason I always find books revolving around religion very fascinating. This book only intensified that. Jodie Picoult is a very talented writer; she knows how to engage the reader and tell the story so you don’t ever want to put it down. I really enjoyed getting to know the characters in Keeping Faith. My one and only complaint about this novel is that everything isn’t explained in the end. It leaves you unsure of what really happened.

WORTH CONSUMING!

When I started this book, I was really unsure of what to expect. I had never heard of the author before, so I didn’t know the writing style, and I wasn’t completely sure of the genre of the novel. As it turns out, I thoroughly enjoyed it. It kept me turning page after page, anticipating what was about to happen next. The character development was phenomenal. I felt like I really knew each individual person in the book. Such a touching and heartfelt story.
