I really liked this at first. The storylines meshed surprisingly, kind of like in a Maeve Binchy book, but near the end it got ridiculous.

I don’t love everything by James Patterson (like his collabs with another author) but this series about the women’s club isn’t bad. No Alex Cross, tho ; )

I checked this one out again after having to return it unfinished the first time. I should have let it go. Nice setting, fairly interesting characters, but the story felt empty and tried to fit 75 years into too few pages.
