A story about "The Devil in the White City: Murder, Magic, and Madness at the Fair That Changed America" — 9 years ago

Amazing. I found the story of the building of the fair to be incredible—-I can’t fathom creating something so huge so quickly in the modern world, let alone more than a hundred years ago. The creepy telling of Holmes and his ‘Castle’ was eerie and tragic. A great historical read.

A story about "Slightly Single (Red Dress Ink paperback} (Red Dress Ink (Numbered Paperback))" — 9 years ago

An OK read . . . a little disappointed in the ending, but not a complete waste of time.

A story about "Ina May's Guide to Childbirth" — 8 years ago

I read this last year and am reading it again, knowing it’s going to inspire me for my impending labor experience.

A story about "Ina May's Guide to Childbirth" — 9 years ago

Inspiring and educational. The birth stories are so empowering, and the information about medical interventions and the way birth/pregnancy are viewed in this country is eye-opening. A must-read for every pregnant woman.

A story about "Shopaholic Ties the Knot (Shopaholic, No 3)" — 9 years ago

I didn’t enjoy this one as much as the first two. I think I got tired of Becky being irresponsible and immature.

A story about "Easter Island" — 9 years ago

Two intriguing stories made all the more fascinating by the way in which they’re woven together.

A story about "Catch Me If You Can: The True Story of a Real Fake" — 9 years ago

I kept having to remind myself that it was all a true story! Fast-paced, a fun read.

A story about "Agatha Raisin and the Case of the Curious Curate" — 9 years ago

OK but not as good as some of the earlier books in the series.

A story about "Recruited: An Alias Prequel" — 9 years ago

I love the show. Reading a book based on the show is just not the same. I tried to read Buffy books, too, but, gah, it’s too weird.

A story about "What Was She Thinking?: Notes on a Scandal: A Novel" — 9 years ago

Yeah, I didn’t like this one at all. Not because of the subject matter, more because it didn’t seem to go anywhere.
