A story about "Serenity (Widescreen Edition)" — 4 years ago

NOT WORTH CONSUMING

Having never seen the television series I didn’t get it and was bored through the entire movie. I only went to see it because my friend was having a really day she thought it would cheer her up…and it did. So I guess my opinion is tainted.

How "Amelie" changed my life — 4 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

My husband and I saw Amelie on our first date, about four years and two weeks ago. It was possibly the most perfect date in history.

WORTH CONSUMING!

I’m surprised that so many people said that this book is not worth consuming. This one of my very fovorite books. It is very sweet and sad, too. I think it is a classic for young adults. I read it in 8th grade for a book report, on a suggestion from my mother as it was one of her favorites and it became one mine. I’ve watched the moveie about million times simce then, as well. I wouldn’t recommend it for kids younger than adolescence since it does deal with the issues of death and alcoholism.

How "Jane Eyre (Signet Classics)" changed my life — 4 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

Jane Eyre is one of maybe a dozen books that I could not live without. It utterly changed my life the first time I read it. I think it was one of two books, the other being Little Women, that actually made me cry. I think I my understanding of romantic love began to take root when I read Jane Eyre. It is easily in my top five favorite novels of all time. I want to go read it right now!

A story about "My Life" — 4 years ago

I’m not terribly far into this, I guess. I bought the paperback edition so I am about one-third of the way through the first book. I find it to be very interesting, if a little comtrived at times. I had seen President Clinton speak in person and was amazed on that occasion at how engaging he is. I don’t think his writing is as elegant and engaging as his speaking style. Still, a very interesting book, I have enjoyed what I have read so far and look froward to reading the rest. President Clinton seems to be a very thoughtful man and I appreciate his perspective. I am not usually intereted in autobiographies and this one holds my attention.
