Hank III’s twanging old-country vocals mashed against train whistles and Satan’s laughter—telling gritty stories about drinking, boozing, pill-poppin, smoking and womanizing. Favorite tracks on the first disc are Pills I Took and My Drinkin Problem. Worth a listen, if you’re into hardcore Hellbilly.

Stunning art. Bold colors. Some of the cards are a bit disturbing, but I don’t come from a Thoth background. Warrents further study though.

I got this deck in a trade and it has become one of my favorite decks in the few days that I’ve had it. I love that the cards are borderless and the colors are rich. They seem to be sort of retro, but it doesn’t bother me, and I find it a totally readable deck.

It’s like a fucking textbook. Only a nice, new textbook with pretty color pictures. I can’t say for sure how comprehensive it is, but it is quite understandable and enjoyable to read.
