Best movie on DVD ive watched so far in 09. i LOVE storytelling that comes from outside our western, judeo-christian, mindset.
Not just a good cartoon, but a legitamatly good movie!
Way better than i expected
As i listen to mastodon i realize they are everything you loved about 90s metal with none of the things you are embarassed about today!
i honestly didnt like Arcade Fire the first time i heard them, then a friend showed me some footage of them playing live somewhere… From that moment on my opinion was changed. Neon Bible is a great album with a great amount of depth to it.
The title story is good and well written, earning this collection of stories a “worth consuming” but honestly i was a bit disappointed by the rest of the stories in the collection.
This is by far the best album i have laid my hands on for a long time! Trees outside the acadamy reminded my why i fell in love with Sonic Youth as a teenager. Thurston Moore is a genius! Thanks, Thurston, for pounding out a new album!
& it’s too sweet that it was recorded at J. Mascis’ house, with J. performing on many of the tracks!
Pretty good stuff, several songs made it on the ole i-pod, but not the whole album, as a whole it was pretty creative. friend is a four letter word is def my favorite from this disc.
i love me some modest mouse, and i like modern bluegrass. So this turned out to be a really cool album to listen to. i think i am addicted to it!
it’s one thing to hear news stories about child soldiers, it’s another thing all-together to read a personal account of being one!
It makes me ask: What can i do?
P.S. if you liked this book i would recomend the movie blood-diamond to you also.
