Fighting (Rated) (Unrated) (Ws Dub Sub Ac3 Dol)

With a title like “Fighting” you would think that there was going to be a whole lot of action, particularly fighting. However, that was not the case. There are 5 fight scenes in the whole film which amounts to a total of about 25 minutes. The rest of the time is devoted to Terrance Howard talking while holding his breath. They should have named this movie “Talking.”

A rather enjoyable biopic starring the all-so-talented Robert Downey JR. (I’ve like every movie he’s ever done except Less Than Zero).

If you like Charlie Chaplin or if you are a fan of stapsick and/or old-time movie making then this is the film for you.

Checkers Drive-In

The last time I ate at Checkers I received raw hamburgers. I called to tell the manager and she argued with me that it wasn’t possible because she made them herself. I brought them back to the restaurant and spoke to her in person and she gave me a lame apology and a refund. Then she threw my bag into the trash without looking inside.

I was a regular customer at that restaurant (1-2X per week) from the time they opened until that incident. I have not returned since.
