This is really interesting reading, and very deep, but contemplation of the ultimate fate of the universe (and everything in it) is not for the faint of heart. Davies avoids too much technical science, but readers would probably want to be comfortable with “popular science” before attempting The Last Three Minutes. Very rewarding!

This book is a collection of games and tests that are similar (apparently) to those given to determine IQ. All the answers are given, so if you get stuck you can improve each time.

All in all there are about 10 tests which should be done in about an hour each.

The music is haunting, beautiful and quirky. Björk has a unique voice, and a timeless style all her own which defies categorisation.

The sound is very raw, unfinished—and I guess that’s the only way it could be, considering. You gotta be in the right mood for this one.

It’s a little quirky, samples and beats, but all good fun. Great for getting into the “digital” mindset, for coding, surfing, writing.

I really like Constantine (the movie), and the soundtrack is very evocative of it … not something I would normally listen to – orchestra rather than electronica – but good nonetheless.

As much as I dislike the Dummies series, this book reads okay and provides useful (to me at least) pronounciation guides for each phrase and word. Not something I want to be seen in public reading, but nevertheless a good starting point.
