Not quite what I expected when I started reading this at all. It’s a nice read, and a quick one too. This book reads more like a collection of very short stories, spread over a series of years on the planet Mars. It mostly deals with individual people’s stories over time.

This is not a bad read. My copy is not a recent one, and was from the 1960’s so there were a few typos. But the fact that this book is still being reprinted so far from it’s original publication date gives you a good idea of how well it is written.

I thought the book did it’s best to give a good summary of the Civil War. Most of it’s chapters and content is based on the military movements and actions, and not as much is spent on the ideology, politics, culture and other sentiments at the time.

I appreciated this book for what it was: a well-written account of the Civil War. It’s a good first step into hopefully more books about this era.

Good live release that really shows the talent that the original Dissection had. Dissection were an extremely tight band who was years ahead of their time and the music of the period. This is a good-quality recording too, especially for a live performance of a metal band.

It’s crazy to hear the riffs that Jon could play while also singing. Dude was sick.

Finally, one of my only complaints of this one is the omission of “Night’s Blood”.

This book is huge, and I’m not sure if it is the type of book that one would read through from start to finish. It is, however, an excellent history of Pittsburgh. If you are interested in a very detailed background of the ‘Burg, pick this up.
