A story about "Monkey Dust Series One" — 1 year ago

I bought a copy of the Beatles “Magical Mystery Tour” at a yard sale last weekend and when I opened it, there was a DVD with “Monkey Dust” written on it. It has all three seasons on it. I’m in the process of watching them.

NOT WORTH CONSUMING

There’s no authour listed for this book. It is composed of short bios of famous and infamous people throughout history. It is strongly biased toward British history. A note in the back says that it was published by “A. Wheaton and company limited” in Exeter, Great Britain.

271 pages on greats that is funny but not funny.

Why I recommend "Peanut Butter Lover Boy (I Was a Sixth Grade Alien, 4)" — 1 year ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

A great book. Pleskitt’s amorous reaction to peanut butter in any form has everyone on their toes.

WORTH CONSUMING!

Back Cover Blurb:

Boxing? Football? Track? Roly-poly Bertie determines to try them all, despite the snickers of Heeble High’s star athletes. “At least I’m in there trying.” says Bertie to himself.
Fumbling, stumbling, through one hilarious mishap after another, Bertie plods on . . . and comes through!

I read this as a kid, handed down from my mother. I got a real kick out of it.

WORTH CONSUMING!

A funny and tragic (mostly funny) history of the SS Great Eastern and her wild life. Replete with minute details culled from newspapers of the time and with a small index at the back.
