marisa tomei is still as beautiful as ever. — 29 weeks ago

for a star-studded flick this was just mediocre. i am always a fan of william h. macey and his character was both quirky and relatable. i left the movie thinking marisa tomei is as beautiful as ever. she doesn’t age. i really like her. everything else just faded away into the background.

NOT WORTH CONSUMING

i say i’ve consumed this but in actuality, i didn’t even finish the first disc. i had added this to my netflix queue because my boss recommended it. he is always suggesting some new show or movie to watch and me, vice-versa. we tend to have similiar tastes. naturally i added it to netlix. i received the frist three discs and was a tad excited to see what all the fuss was about. what a let down. the show was too campy for me. i found number 6 rude. i understand his frustration at waking up in an unknown land, where even a map just reads mountains, the sea, your village. knowing that if someone tries to escaoe a giant white bubble comes and takes you away. i haven’t figured out if the bubble kills you or just renders you unconscious. i could handle that. what really did it for me was the woman announcing events on the loud speaker. enough is enough. i was through.

WORTH CONSUMING!

i watched most of season 2 first. kevin let me borrow this. it was neat to see the people before they got to where they are in the second season. i kept talking to the tv telling it, “i know you!” i too really like summer glau. she’s perfect.

A question I have about "Saw IV" — 31 weeks ago

would you really lose your baby if you got hit in the stomach with a door if you were 7 months pregnant? it seems like you wouldn’t to me, but i am no expert in babies.

i don't understand why this series is so popular — 31 weeks ago

i don’t understand why this series is so popular. i say this, and yet have seen all four of the movies so far. i guess i just hope they’ll get better, or am wondering what the hype is all about. i like gore. i like scary. in the saw movies there is gore but it’s just, “eh” for me. in this installment we learn some background info on jigsaw. man falls in love with woman. woman gets pregnant. junkie slams a door into aforementioned pregnant woman and she loses baby. man decides it is his duty to provide humanity with a way to “save” themselves. everytime i watch these i do sit and ponder if i’d be capable of doing the things jigsaw requires to get out of the traps.

WORTH CONSUMING!

this was my least favorite of the series. i found it dragged a little until the end. the fight sequence actually made me anxious. i was so engrossed in it that when my cell buzzed i jumped a mile.
