was browsing netflix when i came across this gem. i had vaguely remembered joe mentioning this so watched it. i really really enjoyed this show. i kept saying, “just one more episode, just one more episode.” -there are only 15. i didn’t realize how involved with the characters i had become until nim was shot and i thought he was dead. i almost cried. i even gasped at the screen. :)i was a little worried that because the show was cancelled it was going to end in a cliffhanger, which would’ve sucked. to my pleasant surprise, it did not.

i still can’t say kibee balls without cocking a smile. :)

i absolutely LOVE labneh. i’ve even made it myself, which didn’t turn out as good but was relatively easy to make.

i am currently in the middle of seasons one and two. after watching surface instantly from netflix and enjoying it immensly, i decided to browse what other tv shows they had. i’ve always been curious about this show but never really knew what it was about, so i decided to watch it. i’m enjoying it. it reminds me of farscape, which i loved, except instead of using the wormhole and ending up in outer space they “slide” into parallel earths. the only negative is not all the episodes are available to watch instantly. i think only one or two aren’t but still.

for some reason i have been craving cow’s milk for about a week now. i am NOT a cow’s milk fan. i prefer rice. i went to my local farm stand because they used to have milk in glass bottles.

this was better than my other two forays into the watch instantly in netflix, but not by much. i’ve been eyeing this gem in the redbox and haven’t wanted to spend the $1.05 on it and was pleased it was on netflix. i’m glad i didn’t spend the buck. i kept thinking nic rhind was matthew lillard. he is not.
