whomever decided to cross a plum and an apricot you were genius. tasty. not too sweet. has that plum twang to it to keep the apricot from overpowering it. another benefit of summer. even the flesh is pretty, both inside and out.

give the kid a break. he’s lost both his parents and has been told they have not gone to heaven and are in hell. he’s young. a lot of adults would be having a hard enough time making their peace with god, he’s just a child.

i found they type casted ryan and was not pleased. ryan is the only one of the four whom hasn’t decided to become a christian yet. he is portrayed as a “chicken”, unagreeable, prone to tantrums, etc…, etc…. it’s way too early to be feeling this dislike for the series. am intrigued as to where it’s going to go from here, especially when they go back to school. will stick it out at least until then.

had these for the first time last night. yummy!!!

bk club bk. was sick for the june meeting and didn’t read the book in time but am giving it a go. so far, so good.

i’ve read the left behind series for adults and enjoyed it. here and there they were a little preachy but had enough action and strong relationship story lines to keep me entertained. i’m finding the first in the kids series to be very preachy and geared towards a much younger audience then i expected. the one major problem i’ve had with this book is buck had long hair and i believe in the other series it was short. i liked how they interwined the characters from the adult series, but need to be consistent.

this started out strong and faltered at the end. i have no desire to watch the other seasons.
