i finally, finally, watched this movie. i think i’ve had it from netflix for 6 months. eh, i was not impressed. this is such a guy movie. even so, i just didn’t understand how de niro went from a slightly “angry at the underbelly of the world guy” to a homicidal maniac. i guess getting dumped by cybil shepherd does that to a guy? speaking of- what guy, even in the 70’s??, brings his perfect love to a porno theatre on their first real date? hmmm…can i start shooting people i find uncool and be a hero for it? i don’t think i’m pretty enough to get away with it. should’ve watched my dvred episodes of boston legal.

i originally bought the peppermint flavored soap in a bar. i wanted to feel tingly all over. unfortunately, i only experienced tingly goodness in my girl parts until i switched to the liquid form. then i was tingly everywhere. :) i’ve used it as shampoo, soap, and shave gel. target has perfect bite size bottles. right now i’m using the almond scented one and loving it. the almond fragrance is wonderful. this time i purchased a huge bottle so maybe i’ll be able to finish reading all the text this time.

i don’t know what it was about this movie that thrilled me so much but i thoroughly enjoyed this. i like both liv tyler and scott speedman so that was pleasing. i really liked the score and was disappointed to hear that those songs were not on the soundtrack. i watched this with the lights out in the v. dark and i was scared. i also live in a remote area so that could’ve played a factor.

i have never had chilean sea bass before this. i usually like a gamier fish so i tend to stay away from white. this was pleasant. the taste was mild yet rich at the same time. it lingered. kind of melts in your mouth like butter.

jason aldean + lady antebellum

i have never been to the lowell memorial auditorium and i was pleased. the venue is small and rather intimate. however, i was not impressed with the parking situations. there was one garage, which was full, and the rest was meter parking. being a semi-main street these were hard to find. no one was hawking their driveways for parking either. once inside the beer was cheap, the seats comfortable, and like i said, intimate. lady antebellum was good. ever since seeing them open for josh turner at the big e a couple of years ago i’ve been hooked. they even did a signing after the show. jason aldean was great! my one question: does he wear the same outfit every show???
