An nice chocolatey dessert that’s low-fat as well. The other flavour I’ve tried is the Golden Mango…Yum!
A sequel to RGV’s Darna Mana Hai (Fear is Forbidden), Darna Zaroori Hai (Fear is Important) is a collection of 6 stories by different directors on the theme of horror, suspense and fear. On the good side, DZH has an impressive line-up of stars such as Amitabh Bachan, Anil Kapoor and Arjun Rampal, while the atmosphere for the entire film was consistent and creepy, without resorting to CGI and SFX as is often found in Hollywood horror films. Unfortunately, the stories themselves are little to fleeting for me although they had good material to explore. DZH is like a good horror story-telling around the campsite. A good watch!
Set in Australia, Wolf Creek is loosely (and I mean loosely) based on Ivan Milat, who was convicted of murdering seven backpackers in Sydney during the 1990s, and suspected of killing and hiding many more in the remote Outback. Similiar in concept to movies such as The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Wrong Turn, Wolf Creek does not offer anything new to the genre. However, having said that it is better than some of the other movies that are of the same theme, mainly due to the new-ness of the Outback as a location and the chillingly real feel of the movie. The characters are fairly one-dimensional and stereotypical – a trio of 20somethings who party and get drunk decide to go on a roadtrip to visit the Wolf Creek crater and find themselves at the hands of a psycho Crocodile Dundee. A fairly watchable.
With 2 very successful predecessors, it is inevitable that there would be comparions esp since there was a change in directors. Brett Ratner takes over from Bryan Singer and does a decent job. With an awesome climax, the movie is fast-paced. Unfortunately, it’s at the expense of the characters. More mutants are introduced but few are well-developed. A good end to the trilogy…or is it the end?
Had wanted to put this under the Consume Next but for some reason its under the Consumed list. In any case, not sure if will get this in S’pore..Hopefully, its brought in.
Is still 1 of my guilty pleasures. Have tried to plain, peanuts, peanut butter, crunchy. But esp like the dark chocolates ones—> limited edition Star Wars M&Ms. Yummy!
Sticky caramel, milky chocolate…wat’s not to like?
Translated from French and written in 1978, Death in the Truffle Wood is an intriguing blend of village superstition, suspense, humour, scintillating scandals all wrapped up in an idyllic truffle-rich village named Banon. Throw in a charming inspector, clever pig and a bunch of hippies, this makes for a fun read to spend a lazy afternoon.
