A review of "Thank You for Smoking" — 1 year agoI really expected it to be a bit more funny. The trailer made it look funnier than it is, but it fell short of my expectations.
Overall good, good plat and tome funny scenes. Kind of slow in places, which is why I am glad I saw it on DVD— fast forward a little here and there. And some of the wine stuff was a little too much. But I did like it enough to recommend it to friends who enjoy this type of film.
Pretty good, though not as good as the old BBC version, or the books. Kind of fell apart at the end, and the slight love story angle was a little unnecessary.
