I read this book for my typography class, and it explains things that appear to be “common sense” for experience designers but a mystical mystery to everyone else. It’s good to keep around as a guide that is probably quicker than trying to find an answer on the internet.

The novel moves quickly, a little too quickly at times. To help slow the pace, there are subtle vignettes that allude to the atmosphere of feelings; these are delicate, thoughtful, and fine-tuned. I liked this book mostly because of the characters.

Worth skimming, but if you read an interview of the author about the book, you’d probably glean just as much information as you might retain from the book.

This book touches on everything that has anything to do with ceramics. It’s a handy guide to keep in the beginning ceramist’s studio.

If you don’t read anything else in the book, read chapter 8.

The chapters could be read independently, but they do work well together. This book dispels stereotypes about Muslim women.

I enjoyed the movie, but I think I would have been more emotionally moved if I were a single parent or a mom. Because I am neither, I had a hard time connecting with the characters.
