A story about "Bride and Prejudice" — 2 years ago
This is a wonderfully fun movie and a nice take on the Austen lark. It’s full of vibrancy, extragavance and enjoyment.
Watch it with the girls.

I liked this film, it was nice and compact, with a few nice (if predictible) twists. Good for a night in.
This book links the Robots and the Empire (later Foundation) books all together, works well and adds nice bits to the overall epic.
I loved this tale of robots and man, the estrangement of the human race between the people who strove forth to settle new worlds and those who hung back. Artful.
An odd but enjoyable story of a group of societal misfits who are effectively hiding out in a remote desolated part of the country. The encovering of each character, the central mystery and the overall mesh of the group is very well done.
I loved this book, it’s such an interesting read (and well researched for the factual parts from what I can tell) about the survival methods of people of the clan. It’s a little bit stretched at points, but I love the detail and the energy with which everything is described.
No one else can beat the classic tale of Dracula. I found the book to be more evocative and thought provoking that the film, which seems to generally be true.
Wonderful story with such a depth of feeling and grace. Tells a tale of the draining of the soul of a community and the hope that can be offered by a few brave souls. Looking forward to reading the next one.
I remember reading this book and remarking on the incredible vocabulary that the author possess, he uses it to conjure up the deeper darkness that makes this book so good.
I really didn’t like this—a friend loaned it to me and I was very disappointed, thought it was very smug and self-satisfied and overly dependant of it’s own self-important. Maybe I just wasn’t intelligent enough to ‘get it’ but I disliked it intensely.
