Why I recommend "Dreamfield's Penne" — 36 weeks ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

This stuff is great. My mother’s friend suggested it and I was a bit skeptical, thinking “pasta is pasta.” I tried it tonight and I was wrong. It is easily better than the others I have been buying. The taste is cleaner for one. Another nice thing is that it is thicker. This might be bad on some pasta but on this the texture is excellent. It is equal to homemade pasta but better in that it doesn’t require you to roll and cut the pasta. I certainly recommend this.

Why I recommend "Perfume: The Story of a Murderer" — 36 weeks ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

This is such a beautiful, sad story. It is the story of an artist who is devoted to the perfection of his art but held back by a world that cannot see the value of his work and a lack of social skills. (as are most artists) It is a story of devotion, a level of dedication to and interest in a single element of life that is far too rare.

WORTH CONSUMING!

This is an awesome set of songs even by itself but if you pay attention to the words it’s like a bards collection. They sing of the old Norse mythology. Some songs are in Norwegian so you’ll have to translate those few but the rest are in plain english. The music is so different from most stuff that it sounds great and with the power of the singer it is excellent rock. Listen to it or be trampled beneath Slepnir’s hooves.

How "Banewreaker" changed my life — 1 year ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

After reading her other work, most specifically Angels: Celestial Spirits in Art and Literature, I have realised that this is not a standard story but it is a refacing of one that is very old. It is the war of freewill against the tyrant. It is the story of the fall of Lucifer. If you can manage to absorb this concept, (Not as easy as it sounds, it goes against what most people are trained to from birth) it will change the way you see a great many things.

WORTH CONSUMING!

I love this book for several reasons. First and foremost is that it is so well written. Jaqueline is an amazing author. Everything in the book is very well written and the story didn’t just plop out of a mold.
Another reason is the concept summarised on the back cover; “If all that is good thinks you are evil… are you?” If this concept were better understood and more widely understood the world would definitely be a better place.
