A story about "Kushiel's Avatar (Kushiel's Legacy)" — 6 years ago
Not so intruiging as the other two. More questy, less character development or even focus, less court politics. Still fantastic, even so.

love it, absolutely love it. bit lost in the politics—it’s a good idea to focus on the names &roles early on, but even if you don’t, it’s gorgeous..
brilliant. it’s like a crash course in davinci &the history of the church &also random but fascinating trivia—&it’s beautifully planned out.
the images &the energy &the characters but the images my gods, it’s beautiful. still think i’m missing pieces because there’s just so much there..
He manages to compare a rhinoceros to a lightbulb and have it sound perfectly natural. The entire book goes like that. It’s bunches of fun.
long. very long. worth it.
