faerietaleslie hasn't consumed anything recently.

i didnt watch like over half the movie. my eyes were covered the whole time. (i’ve very squeemish and very frightful). and before you ask why i even saw it, i went with my boyfriend, who loved it.
i laughed out loud several times, and thats all i really wanted out of it, so yay
i finally finished the stupid thing!
it sucked. i love f scott fitzgerald but this is the worst book of his i’ve read (and i’ve read them all but “the last tycoon”
it was boring to read. it was all over the place.
too lyrical for my taste, but thats just me.
nothing happened! well, there was the decline, but it just wasnt done well!
the only redeeming quality is how it was a little look into fitzgerald’s own life. i noticed it b/c i’ve read two biographies on him, and also some of the critical excerpts in the back said the same.
well, i’ma mark it ‘worth consuming’ b/c fitzgerald is Always worth consuming since i’m such a fan, but that doesnt mean i enjoyed it!
I’ve been working on this book for,,,,,, forever. much longer than usual. and its not that i’m neglecting it really. its that its usually so boring i can only get through a few pages before i want to fall asleep!
and i feel bad for saying that, b/c i’m a big f. scott fitzgerald fan. but that is why i’m continuing to read it, and i wont just quit. i think it will redeem itself. we’ll see!!
it had some really funny parts where i laughed out loud, but overall i didnt love it. i liked it though.
i had to watch it in english class. we had just read a short story by sherman alexie (i think i got that name right…)
anyway, the movie was pretty good, it was pretty funny too which was good.
it was worth my time, but i still give it a “meh” rating. i think i would need to see it again to catch all the details. but i wont b/c it was kind of boring. i like brad pitt’s character.
the first time, it was worth consuming
the second time, i couldnt get through it.
i like the story, i do not like the movie. and i had forgotten how vulgar it can be.
oh well.
